Day 18 - Photos - Manapouri to Otautau
Rainbows!
We observed several rainbows crossing back over Lake Manapouri, here's the 1st with the other ferry beneath it
Several of the rainbows were low, lower than I'd ever seen before. For example...
And another example, note that it is also quite a bright rainbow
There's a brand of campervans called "Wicked" in NZ which have the distinction of interesting paintjobs (all different as far as I could tell). This one had a TMNT theme but I thought the text on the back was worth capturing as a bumpersticker. :)
Finally, this is what the weather was like once we got no more than 5 - 10 Ks away from Lake Manapouri. Glorious!
