Recent Rides
Dec. 13th, 2006 12:07 pmYesterday I rode from work to Rivett via the south edge of Lake Burley Griffin. Mostly on cycle paths it is a very pretty ride of about 17Kms.
Which I did in about 45 minutes at an average speed of 23KPH. I was fanging it because I knew that Michael Priest of Fuse Recumbents was going to give me a lift home after he tended to the needs of the Arcadia (new mudguards, new tyre, some alignment and brake adjustments) so I could get away with arriving exhausted. :)
This morning was the OzHPV Canberra Mob's Xmas ride and brekky. A shorter ride than most Wednesday rides with pancakes on the barby at ANU. Good to see a large turnout and many thanks to Atholl & Peter for organising everything.
Note to self: riding immediately after the consumption of many pancakes with a variety of toppings is not the best idea in the world.
