(no subject)

As of yesterday I had 2,000Ks on the current set of tyres and 9,900 Ks on the odometer.

I'm holding out till 10,000 to get the trike serviced but a bit of a scare this morning has me reconsidering. 

The chain slipped off the front rings this morning leaving me with no drive train. Naturally this happened as  I was crossing a multi lane road. The sort of time when the ability to accelerate is kind of important. Momentum carried me across just in time and much profanity was used while this was happening.

Not an experience I'm all that eager to repeat, thanks very much.
