STILL sick

It isn't really bad but I'm getting tired of it. The doctor's surgery in Civic I called won't have any appointments available until next week.

However I spoke to dalekboy  a little while ago to get the details of the walk-in clinic he and shazgirl  use - I might try to leave work early to go there by taxi this evening (I don't think riding more than the basic commute is a particularly bright idea right now)

The last time I tried to make an appointment with my doctor there was a 3 week waiting list and I ended up seeing another one at the same clinic just to get my script. Was not impressed.

Most illnesses I contract take less than that to go away.

Gah. Oh well I'm at the clinic and all I have to do now is wait...

OTOH I do have my laptop and better signal than I get at home so its not all bad...

Oh it wasn't having to see another doctor as such. Just that I wasn't impressed by the doctor I did see offering to do me a script for a possible incipient cold. What good would *that* do?
