Schwalbe Marathons

My current tyres are a set of Schwalbe Marathons and thus far they're living up to their name. According to BikeJournal I've had 4000Km out of them so far and I've probably got another 500 - 1000 Km left on them, although handling is starting to get a bit twitchy as the tread smooths out.

Overall I'd recommend the Marathons as a good balance of performance and durability.

I switched to Marathons earlier this year. Since then I've covered about 2500km and only just started to notice some wear in the last week or so. I'm glad to hear that I'll be able to expect a bit more out of them!

Likewise, I've been happy with the durability and the ride.

It's just as well - tyres for the Arcadia have been unbelievably hard to get this year.

The Scorchers damn near disappeared and I was lucky to get this set of marathons from Fuse Recumbents. I'm just glad that I managed to snag a backup set recently (although I'm not expecting to need them this year).
