There is a fascinating post and discussion about a proposed anime panel for next SwanCon going on in alias_sqbr 's journal right now.

Alas it has already aged off my friends page and I want to keep track of it. :)

Among other things I'm having an exchange with penchaft  (who I don't think I know in person) that has been quite entertaining thus far. We obviously have very different tastes in anime but the discussion has remained pleasant and courteous.

I notice that you and I both completely failed to resist the temptation to tell people they were wrong to dislike certain anime, we must try not to do that in the panel :)

I think we can make an exception for people who didn't like "Princess Mononoke". They need to be publicly ostracised, only way they'll learn.

Also: very petty, but unintuitive as it seems the short form of my username is "sqbr". At least you didn't write it Sqbr or SQBR, for some irrational reason that really annoys me :)
And I doubt that you've met penchaft in person, she's a relatively young unisfan (by swancon standards, she's still oldish by unisfa standards)

Actually, I can understand people not liking Mononoke. It is in many ways a good film rather than an enjoyable film.
