PSA: Chronos Awards Nominators Can Come From Anywhere

Only the nominees have to be Victorian. Nominations will be accepted  from "...from natural persons active in fandom, or from full or supporting members of the event hosting the award."

BTW this isn't a bug in the rules, it is a feature. :)

Oh, and if anyone from Canberra is at Conjecture could you pick up my conbook etc - I had to work this weekend and couldn't get there.

I never stop to look at where an author is from when I'm reading a book.

Which is fair enough.

The only author I read regularly that I'm pretty sure is Victorian is Kerry Greenwood, because her mysteries are all set in Melbourne.

That could be a bit of clue. :)

Just as a bit of background, the Chronos Awards were inspired by the Western Australian equivalent known as the Tin Ducks (which have been running successfully for many years now at SwanCon).

Dalekboy and I don't know if the Chronos Awards will be as successful but we can hope.
